Magnetotherapy
The use of magnets as therapy has a long history. Magnetic fields have an analgetic and anti-inflammatory effect on the body, increase tissue perfusion, relieve cramps, reduce swelling, and speed up the healing process. 10 Magnetotherapy makes use of the effects of an electromagnetic field applied using rollers or flat applicators.
The VAS unit
This involves the use of low-frequency pulse and/ or mid-frequency interference electrotherapy currents without the need for attaching contact electrodes, plus additional phototherapy. The distance or contactless electric therapy is a very convenient and increasingly indicated method for the treatment of painful musculoskeletal conditions (both acute and chronic type), post-traumatic haematoma, leg ulcers, osteoporosis etc. Two types of currents are available, where the pulse currents can be used even in clients with metal replacements.
Mechanical lymph drainage
A painless and pleasant procedure to treat swelling of the lower limbs, cellulite, and the feeling of “heavy legs”. The device works with a progressive wave of pressure (filling the chambers of a special girdle), which acts as an effective substitute for a muscle pump which is not working properly. It helps to speed up the flow of lymph and stimulates the elimination of toxic and waste substances from the body.
Ultrasound
Electrical energy s converted to mechanical energy, micromassaging tissue and generating thermal energy, which improves perfusion and boosts nutrition. An ultrasound micromassage relieves muscle cramps, has an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect, and helps to resolve problems with the locomotive system. It has a cosmetic effect in that it softens scars.
Laser, application of probe
A laser is monochromatic polarised light. Our therapists use a non-invasive laser which has a biostimulatory effect. This effect improves rpeegrfeunseiroanti,o ns,t iamnudl amteask ecso tlilsasgueens, fisrpmeeerd. s Thuips effect is also used in cosmetology. It has an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect, which is beneficial for disorders of the locomotive system.
Bio-lamp
The biolamp is another source of therapeutic biostimulatory light, which acts up to a depth of 2.5 cm. We use the biolamp in cosmetology, for scar regeneration, for treating swellings, and to alleviate pain. In order to regenerate ageing skin and reduce wrinkles the biostimulatory light can be applied daily, in cycles of 15 – 30 applications.
Infračervené světlo
Je jedna z různých forem teploléčby. Pomáhá oživovat buňky, podporuje krevní oběh, zvyšuje přísun kyslíku a posiluje pokožku. Pomáhá u zánětlivých i degenerativních změn pohybového aparátu.
Inhalation of therapeutic substances
In this procedure a therapeutic substance is administered through a spray. The client inhales the spray through the nose and mouth. This moistens the upper respiratory passages and regenerates the mucous membranes in the nose. This is ideal for people with illnesses of the upper or lower respiratory passages, people with allergies or asthma, or those who spend time in air-conditioned rooms, people living in urban areas, and for smokers.
Oxygenotherapy
Oxygenotherapy is, according to Prof. Arden, a proven scientific method which, when applied long term, improves memory and sleep by up to 40% and boosts tissue nutrition. The client inhales 95% oxygen, produced in a concentrator, for for 50 minutes. During inhalation it is important to ensure that the blood is circulating adequately so that the oxygen is supplied to the tissues in question. We recommend reading or doing a crossword, and occasionally exercising the muscles in the arms and legs.
